Gujarat RJ leads ‘Doctors’ Day’ motorbike rally

India’s 94.3 MY FM celebrated Doctor’s Day at its Ahmadabad station in the state of Gujarat with a motor bike rally led by RJ Archana Jani.

The event, held on July 16, saw a turnout of 150 participants including well-known doctors of the city and MY FM RJs.

The aim of the rally was to spread awareness to avoid road accidents and fatalities in the city.

According to a recent survey, Ahmadabad has the highest number of road accidents in Gujarat with 15,000 accidents reported annually, or 41 accidents every day.

The rally was flagged off by local Member of Parliament P Dr. Kirit Solanki, city Mayor Meenakshi Patel, Traffic Police Commissioner Harkrushan Patel, Deputy Commissioner Ahmadabad Municipality Siddharth Khatri and Orthopedic Trauma surgeon Dr. Hasmukh Nagwadia.

Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Harrish M. Bhatia, CEO, 94.3 MY FM said: “I am very happy with the way Ahmadabad has responded to MY FM’s initiative of safe driving and I am hopeful this will bring about a change in city’s driving pattern.”
