Announcers of Malaysia’s THR Raaga – Astro Radio’s Tamil language station – celebrated the festival of Hari Raya with kids in an orpahanage last Wednesday.

The aim the exercise was to share the joy of ‘Berabuka Puasa’, a Malaysian term for opening the fast at the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

It was held at the Yaseen Noor Manzil orphanage in Petaling district of Selangor.

The station hopes that the event becomes a platform to nourish values like care, love and respect among people.
