Top Indian musician duo make new Red FM jingle

India’s 93.5 RED FM launched its new jingle composed by famous bollywood musician duo Sachin-Jigar last weekend.

The tune was premiered at a live show in Delhi featuring one of the wittiest comedians in the country, Kapil Sharma and RED FM RJ Raunac.

The composers, Sachin-Jigar have composed chart topping numbers for popular bollywood movies like ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’, ‘Himmatwala’, ‘I, Me Aur Main’, ‘Go Goa Gone’, ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’.

On refreshing the station’s signature tune, Nisha Narayanan, COO, 93.5 RED FM, said: “We consider our station sound to be a very important part of our brand identity. It was critical for us to collaborate with a set of Bollywood composers who were edgy, experimental and who could create new age sound for our station.”

Talking about the new RED FM jingle, musician Sachin said: “I hear this jingle 100 times every day and still don’t mind listening to it again and again. We went one step ahead and created a fusion of cool Indian vibe with edgy western arrangements.”

His partner, Jigar said: “Working with RED FM was a wonderful experience. RED FM team is very creative and fun loving.”
