Indonesia’s Gen FM 98.7 recently turned seven and celebrated its anniversary with a ‘Gathering’ of stars and listeners.

The Jakarta station’s birthday was on August 9 and the event was held on August 11.

Many well-known local singers and musicians took part in the Gathering, which was an open house for Sobat Gen (Gen fm listeners).

The acts included Once, Indah Dewi Pertiwi (IDP), Hi-Vi, Anang & Ashanti and Fathin.

On air, the station aired some special song playlist build around the number seven all day.

Some of these were ‘Seven Katy Perry songs’, ‘Seven RnB Playlist’, ‘Seven 90s Songs’ and ‘Seven mood boosters’.

The station hopes to be able to live up to its tag line “Aku Cinta Music Indonesia” and always support Indonesian music.
