Former Fly FM midday presenter Prem Shanker has joined Malaysia’s largest radio network Astro Radio to take up his first radio management role.

He becomes Content Manager for the number one English station hitz Fm.

Last month, Shanker announced he was leaving Media Prima’s Fly FM after eight years but hinted on Social Media that he would be moving into management.

hitz Fm has around 1.2 million listeners, according to the latest Nielsen radio survey.

Its morning show is the country’s most popular English language programme, hosted by Ean & Jinny Boy.

This is the second time he has worked for hitz Fm, according to a Social Media post he made on Friday – his first day in the new job.
