Radio City Super Singer returns

India’s Radio City 91.1 FM is back with another season of its nationwide signing talent hunt ‘Radio City Super Singer’.

In its sixth edition, this year’s theme for the hunt – ‘Jinke Liye Gaana First’ (Those who put a song first), also follows the station’s new brand campaign ‘City First toh Aap First’ (When City is first, so are you).

The hunt aims to provide a platform for all aspiring singers, irrespective of their age, gender and profession.

Auditions across 20 cities where the station broadcasts started on Saturday.

Interested contestants can audition through many platform, including on-ground auditions, call ins and uploading  voice clips on  .

Five finalists from each city will battle it out for the title of ‘Radio City Super Singer’ and a prize money of $1644 (Rs 100,000).

The finale is slated to be held in October across 15 cities.

Commenting on the sixth edition of the talent hunt, Mr. Ashit Kukian, President  & COO, Radio City 91.1 FM, said, “The talent hunt has garnered massive participation. We are certain that the response this year will be as phenomenal as in the past and we will witness some great talent from across the country.”
