Malaysia’s Tamil station THR Raaga held a wedding ceremony for the winners of ‘THR Raaga GIF Kettimelam Kalyanam 2014’ last week in Kuala Lumpur.

A grand traditional Indian wedding event, it was attended by 5,000 guests.

The ‘Kettimelam Kalyanam’ contest gave away a full wedding package to three couples, whose expenses were arranged and managed by the station.

The Astro-owned station received 70 entries out of which 38 were called for an interview and 10 were shortlisted in August.

Over the next three weeks, they were put through a series of challenges testing their compatibility with each other.

The winning couples were Thevan and Navaneetha, Saravanan and Kavitha and Sugumaran and Logeswary.

The wedding event featured a fashion show, dance and performances by local artists and station announcers.

The guest list included many showbiz, TV and radio personalities including announcers Geetha, Maara, Revathy, Ram, Anandha, Uthaya,  Shalu, Suresh and Ahila.
