Red FM makes musician’s Bollywood dream come true

The Mumbai station of India’s 93.5 Red FM recently fulfilled the wish of a street musician to be a part of Bollywood.

Kumarjeet Ghosh plays mouth organ on the city streets for alms and also works as a watchman to make ends meet.

He appeared on the station’s evening show ‘Mumbai Local’ and expressed his dream to work for a Bollywood film to RJ Rishi Kapoor.

Kapoor asked his listeners if there were any music directors among them who could help Ghosh realize his dream.

Within minutes they received a call from TV actor and producer Karanveer Bohra, who was mesmerized by Ghosh’s musical prowess and offered him a break on his next production.

Earlier, a similar incident took place on the station on RJ Malishka’s show ‘Morning No.1’.

Famous Bollywood star Akshay Kumar offered financial assistance to Sita Sahu, a double Special Olympics athlete who now is in dire straits, to pursue her sports dreams.
