Ria & Warna promote Anugerah Planet Musik

Singapore’s Ria 89.7 FM and Warna 94.2 FM broadcast the 13th edition of prestigious music awards Anugerah Planet Muzik (APM) 2014 live last Friday.

Both stations were also co-sponsors of the MediaCorp event which celebrates talents from regional Malay music industry.

Legendary Malaysian rock band ‘WINGS’ received the Planet Muzik Special Award and also performed a medley of their hits.

Judika was judged the Best Male Artiste and Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza won Best Artiste (Female) as well as Best Song (Malaysia).

Nurhaliza is now the most awarded artist in the event’s history with 26 wins through the 13 instalments of APM.

NOAH was the Best Band while Cakra Khan won the Best Song (Indonesia) and Best APM Song.

The event was hosted by Indonesia’s Sarah Sechan, who was joined by radio personality Dyn Norahim from Singapore.
