EBU elects new Executive Board

European Broadcasting Union (EBU) members elected nine members to the Executive Board at its 73rd General Assembly in Geneva.

The board will lead the European broadcasting community for the next two years and will take office on January 1, 2015.

It will be guided by incumbent President Jean-Paul Philippot of RTBF Belgium, who was re-elected at the Summer General Assembly in Naples.

Anna-Maria Tarantola from RAI Italy is the new Vice-President and Petr Dvořák, who was made Director General of CT Czech Republic in 2011 joins the Board for the first time.
