SPINNR music streaming service turns one

SPINNR – a homegrown Filipino music streaming service – celebrated its first birthday last week, reports Manila Standard Today.

The app was launched by Smart Communications to offer Filipino fans the most relevant collection of music on their smartphones.

To mark its first anniversary, the app launched a new feature called SPINNR Radio last month.

SPINNR Radio offers free music with unlimited skips, no data charges and no subscription.

Its growing catalogue offers millions of local and international tracks by artists including Red Hot Chili Peppers, One Republic, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Rihanna and Eminem.

The app is available to Smart, Talk ‘N Text and Sun Cellular subscribers in Philippines to download and stream millions of songs for as low as $ 1.1 (P49) a month without additional data charges.
