RAM ratings week 52: Not much movement

According to data from India’s RAM subscribers for Week 52, from December 14 to 20, Radio City continues its lead in Mumbai and Bangalore, while Fever FM and Radio Mirchi lead in Delhi and Kolkata respectively, reports Exchange4media.

The figures are similar to last week as Radio City leads in Mumbai with its market share static at 19 per cent.

It is followed by Big FM with 17.3 percent – 1 per cent less than last week – while Radio Mirchi, Fever 104 FM, Red FM, Oye FM and Radio One saw their market share increase slightly.

In Delhi, Fever 104 FM maintained its number 1 position with 18.9 percent market share, followed by Radio Mirchi with 16.3 percent and Radio City with 11.9 per cent as Big FM slipped to the fourth position with 11.3 per cent.

Radio Mirchi ruled Kolkata with 21.1 per cent market share, followed by Big FM with 16.1 per cent and Radio one occupying the third spot with 11.1 per cent.

In Bangalore, Fever FM, Radio One and Red FM gained in marketshare but could not dislodge Radio City and Big FM from the first and second spot respectively.

Radio City Bangalore gained 0.5 percent to get 23.7 percent market share and Big FM followed with 22.5 percent.

Mirchi’s share went down by 0.3 percent while Fever gained 0.6 percent.
