RAM Week 2 figures show little movement

The second week RAM data from January 4 to 10 for the four Indian metros shows no change in leaders, but market shares have shuffled slightly.

In Mumbai, Radio City continued to be at the top as it regained 0.5 percent market share to score 19.1 percent.

Big FM was once again at the second spot with 18.9 percent share, a gain of 1.4 percent from last week, and Radio Mirchi was third with 14.6 percent.

Fever 104 FM was fourth with 13.1 percent share, but had the highest Time Spent Listening (TSL) score of 6.26.

In Delhi, Fever continued to be way ahead of the rest with a market share of 19.1 and TSL of 5.08. It was followed by Radio Mirchi with 13.1 percent share – same as last week.

Big FM showed 12.6 percent share for the third place, narrowly overtaking Radio City which had a share of 12.5 percent.

In Kolkata, Mirchi further consolidated its top position with 20.8 percent share – a rise of 1 percent from last week.

Big FM gained 0.7 percent to show 16.4 percent share and held on to the second position, but it had the highest TSL score of 5.02.

It was followed by Oye FM with 11.2 percent share, Radio One with 10.4 percent and local station Aamar FM with 10.1 percent.

In Bangalore, Radio City and Big FM continued to be neck to neck.

While City maintained its top spot with 22.5 percent share, dropping 1.2 percent from last week, Big FM gained 0.2 percent for the second place with  21.6 percent.

Radio Mirchi remained third with 17.7 percent – a drop of 0.7 percent from last week and local station Radio Indigo was in the last spot with a share of 2.1 percent.
