Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) is inviting entries to Young Music Makers (YMM) 2015 – a project that aims to help develop budding musical talent.

Up to 16 candidates or ensemble groups will be selected through an audition judged by a panel of adjudicators which includes the Head of RTHK Radio 4, Jimmy Shiu.

Successful candidates will be invited to record one programme on RTHK Radio 4 and one on RTHK ETV for broadcast.

Performance clips will also be uploaded onto RTHK’s website and other social media.

Candidates should be instrumentalists or vocalists performing Western or Chinese fine music repertoire.

Interested candidates should fill out the application form downloaded from rthk.hk/ymm2015 and return it to RTHK Radio 4 on or before May 21.

One candidate selected by the panel and three candidates selected by the public will also perform live at a concert on November 12, which will be broadcast live on Radio 4 and filmed and uploaded onto RTHK’s website.
